Meet Our Member!
I graduated with honors from Georgia State University where I earned a B.A. in Psychology. I then graduated with highest honors from Lindsey Wilson College where I earned a M.Ed. in Counseling. But that’s only a piece of the journey.
The entirety of my educational background is long and varied as I found myself exploring various fields before stumbling upon my true passion, working with others to make positive changes in their life through the process of collaborative therapeutic work.
So often we go through life living with something because it’s the only way we’ve ever known, and we accept it as if it must always be the only thing we ever WILL know. We find ourselves trapped in a cycle, sometimes with another person as well, unable to escape the groundhog day of experiences because we just don’t have the tools to move in the direction we would rather be.
My goal as a therapist is to help provide you with the tools to empower you to obtain the life and results you want but didn’t think were possible. Imagine a relationship that isn’t in constant turmoil, or a career that makes you wake up each day thinking I can’t wait to tackle the day, or even being able to live a day without every aspect being controlled by debilitating anxiety.
Through the use of therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Choice Therapy, I will work alongside you to help you obtain the life you’ve always dreamt of but instead settled for less.
When I’m not working with clients, you can typically find me either listening to my ever-growing vinyl collection, playing with my two lovable Boxers Gizmo & Charlie, or trying to learn how to add even more RGB lighting to things that don’t necessarily need it.
